Temp-to-Hire
An arrangement where a worker starts as a temporary employee of the agency and the client can convert them to a permanent hire, often after a set period.
Temp-to-hire lets a client evaluate a worker on the job before committing to a permanent offer, with the agency handling payroll and burden during the trial. If the client converts the worker to their own payroll, that usually triggers a conversion (buyout) fee.
